Im sure the Shimano xtr bottom bracket would be good for thousands of kilometers, but everything on the fargo was matching except the current bb. I have a red headset, red nipples, red seat clamp, red detail on seatpost and red skewers. So this is the final piece of the puzzle. Once I put this on there is nothing else I could need to do to this bike. Except get a TI frame……. Im sure it will come. I really dont expect this bb to add to the enjoyment of my ride to be effected, but I do care how my bike looks and its all in the finer details. Matching parts being one!

This is how I raced the fargo for convict 100

Took some happy snaps of the yeti today. All finished and time to enjoy!

7hrs and 12mins later I finished the convict 100. I wanted to go sub 7 hours but that will have to wait for another day!
